Modded Mobile Games and Bluestacks

Modded Mobile Games and Bluestacks are going to be the next big thing for mod developers across the world. And recently, BlueStacks X landed in beta, a cloud-based platform that’s powered by now.gg and its NFG platform.

This platform will allow the separation of game code, game events, and game art. This is why BlueStacks has officially announced Creator Studio & Creator Hub, brand new tools that allow users to create and share modded mobile games.

Modded Mobile Games and Bluestacks Update

There are some limitations to how BlueStacks function on the web. While the desktop version has full access to the Play Store — along with most of the apps accessible there. But only a select group of games can open in the browser client.

The current lineup of games in BlueStacks X is pretty weak. It’s the usual group of free-to-play titles like Castle Clash: Guild Royale or Disney Sorcerer’s Arena. Paid titles like Among Us or Minecraft are nowhere to be seen. The app’s only offering 14 titles for now, although it promises new additions to the library every week.

Mobile game mods going mainstream sounds like an interesting angle for BlueStacks, ideally taking the risk out of the seedy pirate APK mods spread across questionable websites

Both BlueStacks X and now.gg offers the newly-announced Creator Studio & Creator Hub. This is where gamers can create and upload mobile game mods. Not only this the modes will also be converted to NFTs. So creators will also be able to buy and sell mods as NFTs while the content they create stays protected.

While the Game library will have to expand before BlueStacks X reaches a larger audience. The actual experience showed real promise. The controls were fast and accurate — that’s all you can really ask for from an emulator.
