Google was working on Reply, an AI-powered app. This can be touted as Google’s Reply app the best messaging assistant. It lets you reply to texts from various messaging apps by tapping on meaningful replies right in your notifications.
It looks pretty impressive as an assistant that helps you text faster. Once you’ve installed Reply on your Android device and granted it the necessary permissions, the app will take control. Starting from controlling all your messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Twitter DM, Hangouts, and Slack.
The app will also add buttons labeled with responses; tap one and it’ll send it out instantly. As soon as you receive a message from someone such as hey call me, the app will automatically give you a few appropriate responses that you can click to reply instantly with-out having to type.
It removes the need to type out responses to straightforward messages and questions. Besides saving the effort of a few swipes on the keyboard, it also seems like it could kill the texting paralysis – that occasional experience when trying to think of what to say.
Google’s getting fairly good at this ahead of the competition. So it’ll be interesting to see if rivals build their own AI-powered tools for the job. Considering the amount of time that can be saved by using this app can accustom it to have a bright and high-end future.
