YouTube brings Loop Video Feature so can listen and watch without rewind. Avid YouTube users will know how important this feature might become once it hits the mobile app. Currently, the loop video feature is available on YouTubes desktop service.
YouTube has added a lot of features to its app of late, most notably the arrival of YouTube Shorts to all users globally. The latest arrival appears to be a loop video playback feature on the YouTube Android app. The YouTube app Viewers have been able to play their favorite videos on loop on a computer browser.
This feature is mostly used while listening to music, as users don’t want to click the “replay” button every time their favorite song is over. Now, it is being reported that YouTube maybe finally bringing that new feature to smartphones.
YouTube brings Loop Video Feature
Before the Loop Update, the only way to loop a video on the YouTube app for Android was to add the video you wanted to watch to an empty playlist. Then save it and tap the “Repeat” icon on the playlist, which would then start the video on a loop.
And if you didn’t delete the makeshift playlist, you would end up with a lot of single-entry playlists on your YouTube Account. And the new “Loop video” feature will be accessible on the three-dot menu button on a YouTube video. Users will be able to toggle “Loop Video” on or off from the menu.
The option to video on loop should be located between the video quality setting and the captions option. However, we were unable to locate the feature on multiple Android devices running the latest version of the YouTube app. So it is likely being enabled by a server-side update. Let us know in the comments if you can see this in your app.
