Now you can Send Photos Faster on the Messages app that comes preinstalled on your Android phone. The company is testing the “send photos faster” option on the Messages app.

How to use Send Photos Faster on the Messages app
First of you would need RCS to be allowed in your app. RCS messages, short for Rich Communication Services. In comparison to standard SMS messaging, RCS chats provide an upgraded experience similar to Apple iMessage.

The description continues, “Resolution is reduced for faster sending,” with this presumably applying to RCS rather than SMS, which is already noticeably low-res.
Photos sent via SMS are generally lower resolution already, so it appears the new feature gives users the option to downgrade the file size but preserve other RCS messaging features.
This includes the ability to see when someone is typing, and send messages over mobile data and Wi-Fi. And enable read receipts, and share higher-resolution photos
