Having trouble with your phone’s battery stamina? Here is How to Make Your Android Phone’s Battery Last Longer and get through the day without recharging your device.
Charging your phone overnight might be the first place where your problems start. And as your charger continuously tops off your phone to 100% for the remainder of your slumber, you’re killing its battery.
How to Make Your Android Phone’s Battery Last Longer
Do remember that charging your phone when you sleep on repeat reduces reliability and degrades battery performance. Keeping a battery charged to 100% for extended periods is not healthy.
Adaptive Charging, a feature in modern Android phones, minimizes phone degradation by capping charging at around 80% for the majority of your sleep.
Your phone begins charging again when it calculates it will hit a full 100% charge around the time your next alarm goes off.
You can also use your phone’s alarm to trickle charge your phone and prolong your battery life. Open the Clock app and press the + button. Set the time you want your phone to stop charging.
Tap Add Label to name the alarm. Select OK. Press the days you want the alarm to be active. Tap the slider icon to activate the alarm. Repeat for the other times you wake up during the week, if applicable.
