For all those who enjoy the system less rooting priorities with the Magisk app on legacy Android OS, we have some bad news for you. Magisk v22.1 will end support for old Android OS. But you will get alot of new features in the last update before the support is ended.
Regarding the update Developer topjohnwu confirmed on Twitter that Magisk v22.1 will be the last major version to support Android Jellybean and KitKat — versions 4.1-4.3.1 and 4.4-4.4.4 respectively. Future versions will only support Lollipop 5.0+ or higher.
Keep that in mind that a lot of users tend to tinker and take rooting risks on old phones. But according to the team that develops updates its a big time saver as they want to focus more on the latest versions of android. The latest Magisk v22.1 does include a lot bug fixes and missing features.
Magisk will end support for Android Jellybean and KitKat

sepolicy.rulemounting strategy - [resetprop] Always delete existing
ro.props before updating. This will fix bootloops that could be caused by modifying device fingerprint properties.
